VoucherSwap is operated by Kokai BV, registered in the Netherlands (KVK 96689153), with its registered office at Alexanderveld 5, 2585 DB The Hague, Netherlands. References to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to Kokai BV. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.

1. Data We Collect

Account data — email address and display name, provided when you register or sign in with Google.
Vouchers and activity — voucher codes, store names, categories, and descriptions you submit.
Alert subscriptions — email address and store keyword patterns for notification subscriptions.
Votes and reports — your votes and any reports you submit on vouchers.
Request board activity — community requests, comments, and follows you create.

2. How We Use Your Data

To provide and operate the VoucherSwap service.
To send email notifications when matching vouchers are posted (alert subscribers only).
To calculate community reputation scores.
To detect and remove spam or abusive content.

3. Third-Party Services

Supabase — authentication and database hosting. Data is stored in EU data centres. Supabase Privacy Policy.
Stripe — payment processing for alert subscriptions. We never store payment card details. Stripe Privacy Policy.
Resend — transactional email delivery for alert notifications. Resend Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare — hosting and CDN. Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Google — optional sign-in via Google OAuth. If you use Google sign-in, Google shares your name and email address with us.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Vouchers and community content may remain visible after account deletion for community continuity. You may request full deletion by emailing us.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@voucherswap.eu.

6. Cookies

We use localStorage (not cookies) to store your session tokens locally in your browser. No tracking cookies or advertising cookies are used.
